Day of Honor 2008
Ship's Kaptain Reporting
 After
navigating a fierce battle between man, machine, and the debris- filled road, I
arrived at the park about 15 minutes late. Only a few had arrived before me and
final set-up and preparations were being made. Lt. jorDe’ arrived on his loud
beast only a few minutes later. The IKV Sons of Honor from Fresno made the trip
transporting Lt. K’Dar to this event. We were also invaded by some piratical
types and Terrans who handled themselves as true warriors.
We waited until noon and then Cmdr B'raKa' called us to assemble. The Kaptains
of the ships attending announced themselves and introduced their ships. Then we
began the feasting and sharing stories amongst each other.
Sgt Major T’Bor called all warriors to begin the Tests of Skill. There were
tests of accuracy, strength, throwing, and shooting. Periods of rest and
merriment were afforded between each test. Many holovids were recorded.
The hour was growing late, when Fleet Admiral K'Han Den arrived. He had
completed his military mission at another location and was still in his formal
uniform from this meeting. We were called to assemble again and the closing
comments were given. Admiral K’Han called me to approach and, with
transportation provided by Zimm, I was granted a promotion to rank of Kaptain.
We then took holovids of all in attendance, and broke down the encampment.
Many of us proceeded to Fuddruckers for continued feasting and story telling.
And then it was time to return to our ships.
