Day of Honor 2006

Ship's Kaptain Reporting

I arrived early for the Day of Honor and discussed much with the Admiral and Regent. It appears my duties as Ship Commander and Vice Regent do not take a holiday.

More warriors arrived including our Chief of Security, HoS'etlh. There were also some Terrans who thought that they could show their heart in our tests of skill. Then the Admiral began the Day of Honor.

There we were with the sun at our backs telling our Battles of Glory for a special prize and special recognition of the first one to the food. There were many tales of dealings with other races and how we were victorious over their inadequacies, but our esteemed Chief of Security took the award with his tale from another land.

After the feasting and more bragging of adventures, it was time to begin the battles of skill. We assembled into our teams, there were three. To make things fair, HoS'etlh and I joined on other teams. My team was at a disadvantage as we had a Human. What better way to show our honor than to be as one for the battle!

There were several events to test warrior’s strength and skill. The events lasted throughout the morning and into the afternoon. There were many rematches as the teams were sorted into ranking. In the final rematch was HoS'etlh’s team. He fought strong and true, one on one with his opponent, in a “hockey” match. After many rounds, Hosetlh became the victor and gave much honor to his team and they took the placement of first.

But aside from the games during competition and not in competition, everyone had a very good time and it was good to see our brothers from throughout the fleet, even as far as Las Vegas had come to show their Honor.
